As a VDC Engineer with Absher Construction, you'll leverage Virtual Design and Construction methodologies to enhance project planning and coordination across the company's portfolio. Your responsibilities include developing and managing construction models, leading trade coordination meetings using model-based workflows, performing clash detection, and supporting preconstruction planning. You'll work throughout the project lifecycle bridging design intent with field execution, ensuring models reflect accurate sequencing and real-world conditions while maintaining detailed coordination documentation. This role suits problem-solvers who excel at collaborating with both technical and construction teams. You'll need a background in architecture, engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience, plus proficiency with Autodesk software like Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD. Strong spatial reasoning, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects are essential. A solid understanding of how structural, architectural, and MEP trades coordinate will help you identify and resolve issues before they reach the field. As a VDC Engineer, you’ll support Absher’s project teams by applying Virtual Design & Construction practices to improve planning, coordination, and project delivery. You’ll work closely with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and trade partners to develop and manage construction models, facilitate trade coordination, and help resolve issues before they impact the field.
This role plays an important part in bridging design intent and field execution by using model-based workflows to support coordination, sequencing, and constructability across projects.
You’re a strong problem solver who enjoys working with both technology and construction teams. You communicate clearly, think spatially, and take pride in helping project teams identify and resolve coordination challenges before they impact the field.

Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.
