Abnormal
**What You'll Do** You'll serve as the operational hub of Abnormal's AI Transformation Office, connecting high-level AI redesign strategy to the engineers, product managers, and business teams executing it. Your core responsibilities include translating transformation vision into concrete requirements, building and maintaining the enterprise capability map that tracks who owns what and where AI creates value, and running the cross-functional prioritization and delivery cadence. You'll define how each initiative splits work between humans, AI, and systems; own the measurement framework that proves transformation outcomes; and drive adoption through change management and role redesign with people leadership. **Who Should Apply** This is a fit for someone with 5+ years at an investment bank or top-tier consulting firm who's comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast on complex problems. You need strong first-principles thinking, quantitative rigor (including the ability to build metric trees and structure data without analyst support), and genuine hands-on AI fluency—not theoretical knowledge, but daily use of frontier tools and at least one real process you've rebuilt around AI yourself. You should have a track record running multi-stakeholder initiatives without formal authority and communicating crisply to leadership teams. **Standout Details** This role is remote within the USA and explicitly designed around AI fluency: you'll need to demonstrate concrete projects you've shipped using AI, not just familiarity with the concept. A technical background in CS, engineering, or quantitative fields is nice to have but not required. The position sits in the People and Transformation org under the Chief Transformation Officer, giving you visibility across sales, customer success, support, marketing, finance, HR, legal, and engineering.

The AI Transformation Office at Abnormal owns how the company redesigns work around AI: mapping every business function for AI opportunity, running structured workstreams across Sales, CS, Support, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, and Engineering, and standing up the operating model that ties stakeholders, prioritization, and delivery together.
The Transformation Strategy Manager is the day-to-day operator inside that office. You are the connective tissue between the vision for AI-redesigned processes and the AI PMs, AI engineers, and business leaders who build and adopt them. You will translate ambiguous transformation bets into concrete requirements, run the cross-functional cadence to ship them, and own the analytics that prove whether they worked.
This role sits inside the People and Transformation org reporting to the Director of AI Transformation in the Chief Transformation Officer’s organization (with a dotted line into the People team). The lens is both functional (what gets built) and future-of-work (how Abnormal operates differently as a result).
This role only exists because AI is changing how work gets done at Abnormal. You should be a daily power user of frontier AI tools, comfortable building your own light-weight prototypes (Cowork skills, agents, scripts, or no-code stacks) to solve your own workflow problems, and able to talk concretely about projects where you have already redesigned how something works using AI. The case study and the presentation are explicitly designed to test this. Show us what you have built, not what you have read about.
