DataHub
DataHub seeks a Technical Program Manager to own release management across both its open-source platform and managed cloud offering. You'll orchestrate cross-functional coordination among engineering, product, QA, DevOps, documentation, and customer success teams while establishing quality gates, building automation infrastructure, and mitigating risks before releases reach production. The role demands serving as the release command center—fielding stakeholder questions, running retrospectives, and continuously refining processes to transform release workflows from manual overhead into streamlined operations. This position suits someone with 5+ years in technical program or release management, particularly in startup environments handling complex software deployments. You need strong foundational knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and software development lifecycles, paired with the technical depth to understand architecture and dependencies. Proficiency in project management tools like Jira or Linear and exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences are essential. Based on the East Coast or US remote options, DataHub offers competitive compensation with equity stakes for all employees, comprehensive health coverage, unlimited PTO, and monthly coworking stipends. Experience with data platforms, Kubernetes, GitHub workflows, open-source governance, and SaaS deployment models are valued add-ons. Prior exposure to observability tools and incident management processes strengthens candidacy.
