Addepar
Addepar seeks a senior software engineer to join its Data Control Frameworks team, a division focused on building the data quality infrastructure that underpins the company's financial data platform. You'll design and implement scalable validation systems and automated checks that process enterprise-level financial data across diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability. The role involves owning services end-to-end—from initial architecture through deployment and ongoing operational support—while creating tools that help operations teams identify and resolve data issues efficiently. This position is ideal for experienced software engineers with deep expertise in distributed systems and data processing at scale. You should be proficient in Java and Python, comfortable with SQL and modern database technologies, and experienced deploying cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code practices. Familiarity with technologies like pySpark and Databricks is valuable. You'll work cross-functionally with product, data engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-impact solutions that make data trustworthy and actionable across the organization. Remote role based in the UK; applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom from day one, with no visa sponsorship available. This is a full-time senior engineering position at a global fintech company managing nearly $9 trillion in assets across 1,400+ client firms.

The Data Control Frameworks (DCF) team is a critical component of Addepar's Data Platform organization. We build the data quality infrastructure that ensures the integrity and reliability of financial data across Addepar's platform. Our team develops automated data quality checks, validation frameworks, and operational tools that empower both engineering teams and operations personnel to maintain the highest standards of data accuracy. We partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to surface data quality issues early and enable rapid corrective action.
