DataHub
DataHub is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to lead development of its ingestion framework—the critical system that collects metadata from diverse enterprise data sources and feeds AI systems at scale. You'll architect scalable, fault-tolerant pipelines that handle real-time metadata processing, design clean APIs for a connector ecosystem, and build versioning systems for AI assets. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and business impact, directly influencing how thousands of organizations safely deploy AI systems. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years building distributed systems in production environments, with advanced Python skills and proven expertise in API design. You should have hands-on experience with high-scale data processing frameworks and a strong foundation in systems architecture. A portfolio demonstrating solutions to complex technical problems is essential; bonus experience includes familiarity with metadata tools like DataHub, Airflow, Airbyte, or dbt, plus open-source contributions or early-stage startup background. This is a hybrid role based in Palo Alto (3 days in office), offering $225,000–$300,000 in salary plus equity, comprehensive health coverage, home office stipends, and flexible benefits designed for long-term growth.
