At 2K's Cloud Chamber studio in Montréal, you'll lead a team of world builders and level artists creating stylized, immersive environments for a AAA game project. Your responsibilities span both creative direction and team management—mentoring artists, establishing artistic consistency across the project, designing modular architectural systems, and coordinating workflows between art, design, narrative, and engineering departments. You'll manage asset development, provide constructive feedback, establish realistic timelines, and guide your team's professional growth while bringing a richly imagined world to life. This role suits experienced environmental or architectural artists who've shipped multiple AAA titles and can demonstrate leadership capabilities. You'll need at least seven years in game development with a proven track record leading on at least one shipped project, preferably using Unreal Engine 4 or 5. The position requires strong foundational skills in form, composition, and artistic constraint management, combined with the ability to mentor, inspire, and build collaborative processes within your team. This is a full-time, on-site position in Montréal, Quebec. You'll work alongside art leadership and cross-functional teams in a studio environment committed to maintaining high standards and embracing technological advancement.

As a Lead Level Artist at Cloud Chamber you will join our talented group of developers and lead a team of artists responsible for creating compelling, stylized, high-quality level art and immersive world-building under the guidance of the Art Director and Associate Art Director.
As a leader, your role is to build and foster a collaborative process, and share your vast knowledge of tools and best practices with your team. As an artist, your years of experience in the games industry have given you a solid understanding of form and composition as well as the ability to skillfully work within constraints and harmoniously collaborate with other departments. You will be asked to use all the tools and experience at your disposal to bring our richly imagined world to life.
