You'll serve as a Gameplay Engineer at Cloud Chamber, translating creative concepts into functional systems within the upcoming BioShock title. Your focus will be architecting and implementing core gameplay features—from player mechanics and weapons to camera systems—while operating primarily in Unreal 5. You'll partner across design, art, animation, and audio teams to balance technical feasibility with creative ambition, while also staying alert to emerging industry technologies and proactively solving development challenges. This role suits engineers with at least three years of professional experience and a proven track record on gameplay engineering teams. You'll need solid 3D math foundations, strong C/C++ proficiency, and a firm grasp of object-oriented design principles. The position demands meticulous attention to code quality, thorough documentation, and reliable debugging skills—traits that define high-performing technical teams. The position is based in Montréal, Quebec, offering the opportunity to work on a flagship AAA title at 2K's Cloud Chamber studio.

As a Gameplay Engineer at Cloud Chamber you will bridge the gap between technical execution and creative vision, ensuring that our player-centric gameplay feels as impactful as it looks.
