AEVEX is hiring an Aircraft Integration Technician to support the assembly and testing of unmanned aerial vehicle systems in their Tampa facility. You'll work alongside engineers to install electrical and electronic components, perform troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, assemble cable harnesses, and help integrate avionics, airframe structures, and programming elements. The role involves hands-on work with soldering, crimping, and component assembly while following technical specifications and production schedules. This position suits someone with prior production or assembly experience who understands avionics and mechanical integration fundamentals. You should be comfortable reading technical drawings, using hand and power tools proficiently, and collaborating across teams while meeting tight timelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or with guidance are essential. A high school diploma is required, and direct UAV or aircraft assembly experience is preferred though demonstrated technical competencies can substitute. This is a full-time role in Tampa, Florida requiring a current Secret DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship. The work is physically demanding, involving frequent standing, lifting up to 15 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist movements throughout the day.
