# Vice President, Data Platform at Accordion

Accordion, a financial consulting firm partnering with private equity sponsors and CFOs, seeks a Vice President to lead end-to-end data platform delivery for clients across retail, healthcare, technology, and other sectors. You'll own program scope, budget, and outcomes while running agile delivery teams and ensuring adherence to modern data architectures on Snowflake, Azure, and Databricks. This hybrid role is based in Chicago, Dallas, New York, or San Francisco, with flexibility to work remotely two days weekly.

You'll serve as the executive face of multi-million-dollar data initiatives, translating business goals into scalable solutions while managing risk, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment. Your responsibilities span orchestrating cloud environments, coaching delivery teams on agile practices, enforcing data quality and governance standards, and owning commercials—including staffing, budgets, and margin—across data engineering, analytics, and platform operations teams.

This position requires five-plus years leading data platform or analytics programs in consulting, hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure services, strong command of agile methodologies and CI/CD practices, and proven ability to manage $1M–$5M+ programs. Experience with medallion architectures, data quality frameworks, and VP-level stakeholder communication is essential. Candidates should be local to their desired office location; this role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
