You'll own the design and implementation of enterprise-scale services that power the company's data and AI infrastructure, touching systems used daily across the organization. This role balances greenfield innovation—such as advancing lakehouse architecture and building AI-ready interfaces—with the hands-on engineering needed to support over half of Addepar's workforce managing nearly $9 trillion in assets globally.

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of software engineering experience grounded in computer science fundamentals. You should be comfortable provisioning cloud infrastructure on AWS using code-as-infrastructure tools like Terraform, and have strong command of either Java or Python alongside relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with distributed systems technologies like Apache Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake, as well as event streaming platforms such as Kafka or AWS Kinesis, will set you apart.

This is a full-time position based in New York, NY. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Compensation ranges from $158,000 to $197,000 in base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits, with final offers determined by experience and market conditions.
