# Senior Platform Manager, Payment Platform Accounts at Airbnb

Airbnb's Payments team is seeking a Senior Platform Manager to lead the strategy and execution of the Payment Accounts platform area. This role sits at the intersection of payments infrastructure, identity services, and trust—building foundational capabilities that enable secure transactions for millions of hosts and guests worldwide. You'll own the product vision and roadmap for account management systems, working across payments, compliance, trust, and marketplace teams to define how these platforms scale across diverse use cases and geographies.

Your day-to-day involves shaping account infrastructure requirements, reducing payment-related friction and risk, evaluating user data signals to strengthen identity profiles, and managing compliance information flows. You'll partner closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and external enterprise partners to translate organizational priorities into clear requirements and measurable outcomes. This is a strategic role with the mandate to build new platform capabilities from the ground up while supporting critical business outcomes for both guests and hosts.

You bring 7+ years of product management experience in payments or fintech, with a proven track record owning strategy and execution at scale. You'll need deep expertise in identity workflows, compliance requirements, and fraud mitigation, plus solid experience building API and developer-facing platforms. You should have shipped enterprise or B2B2C products for large marketplaces across multiple geographies and regulatory environments, with demonstrated ability to align cross-functional stakeholders around complex priorities. This is a US-based role.
