# Senior Estimator at Absher Construction

Absher Construction, a 100% employee-owned Pacific Northwest general contractor celebrating 85 years in business, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts on complex commercial projects ranging from $40M to $100M+. You'll own the full estimating process from concept through final proposal, manage preconstruction budgets, guide design-build pursuits, and collaborate with owners, architects, and internal teams to position projects for success. The role includes analyzing constructability and risk, developing value engineering strategies, managing subcontractor relationships, and overseeing bid analysis and buyout processes.

This position suits someone with 8+ years of estimating experience and a background in construction management, engineering, or architecture who has successfully led large, multitrade estimates on complex delivery methods. You should have direct client-facing experience during preconstruction, strong analytical skills around risk and budgeting, and proven ability to communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders. Self-perform concrete estimating experience is valued.
