# Senior Director, Data Platform at Accordion

Accordion, a financial consulting firm serving private equity sponsors and CFOs, seeks a Senior Director to lead their Data & Analytics practice. You'll oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale data platform programs built on Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure, managing multi-workstream teams, budgets, and client relationships across diverse sectors including retail, healthcare, and technology. The role combines strategic architecture guidance—including lakehouse and medallion patterns, governance, and data quality—with hands-on oversight of distributed onshore and offshore delivery teams.

This position demands someone with 10+ years in technology delivery, including at least 5 years leading data platform transformations in a consulting environment. You'll need proven expertise managing $1M–$5M+ programs, technical fluency across cloud data platforms and tools like dbt and Fivetran, and the ability to communicate credibly with C-suite stakeholders on both technical and commercial matters. Strong agile delivery practices, proposal development skills, and experience with PE-backed or highly regulated environments are valued.

Based in one of eight U.S. office locations (Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, or San Francisco), this is a hybrid role offering two remote days per week.
