The Intelligence team is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to advance the machine learning and optimization models underlying their core replenishment system. You'll research and implement improvements to tackle real-world challenges like product decay, demand volatility, and multi-stage supply chain complexities, with your solutions directly affecting millions of inventory decisions across major retailers.

This role suits experienced researchers and engineers with strong backgrounds in operations research, supply chain optimization, stochastic modeling, or forecasting. You should have either a graduate degree in a quantitative field plus industry experience (4+ years for MS holders, some experience for PhDs), or equivalent practical expertise. Beyond technical depth, you'll need to communicate complex mathematics clearly to non-technical stakeholders, write production-grade Python code, and mentor junior team members while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in AI-driven inventory management.

Remote position based in Ontario, Canada with salary ranging from $152,000–$205,000 CAD plus equity and benefits. Note that this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
