# Director, Game Science & Insights at 2K

2K is seeking a Director of Game Science & Insights to lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts and ML engineers across its Dublin, US and UK offices. This senior technical leadership role involves steering the organization's approach to player analytics, experimentation and AI systems that directly impact product decisions across major franchises. You'll own the full scope of analytical operations—from recurring analysis and ad-hoc insights to controlled experimentation and productionized AI/ML systems that help 2K anticipate market shifts and optimize engagement, retention and monetization.

This is a hands-on position requiring deep technical fluency across a modern data stack including Snowflake, Databricks, Python, SQL and tools like Tableau and Power BI. You'll set standards for the team's use of generative AI and large language models (Claude and others) in data workflows, champion best practices in MLOps and cloud-native development, and lead the full AI/ML lifecycle from research through scalable deployment. The role demands expertise in causal inference, A/B testing and predictive modeling to translate complex business challenges into testable hypotheses and validated strategies.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with strategic thinking—comfortable defining technical direction while remaining deeply involved in the work itself. You should stay current with evolving AI/ML landscapes and embed modern development practices (GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted engineering) into team workflows. Experience with project management tools like Asana, Confluence and JIRA is expected. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dublin, Ireland.
