# Director, Data Platform at Accordion

Accordion, a financial consulting firm serving private equity sponsors and CFOs, seeks a Director to lead end-to-end delivery of modern data platforms for PE clients and their portfolio companies. You'll own program scope, budgets, and outcomes while managing agile teams through complex, multi-workstream initiatives. This director-level role combines hands-on technical stewardship with executive client partnership—guiding medallion and lakehouse architectures on Snowflake, Azure, and Databricks while translating business goals into scalable data solutions across retail, CPG, healthcare, media, and logistics sectors.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of technology delivery, with at least 5 years leading data platform or analytics programs in consulting or professional services. You'll need hands-on expertise with Snowflake and Azure data services, strong command of agile methodologies and CI/CD for data, and proven success managing $1M–$5M+ distributed programs. Demonstrated ability to influence VP and C-suite stakeholders, coupled with experience in medallion architectures, data modeling, and data quality frameworks, is essential. Relevant certifications (PMP, SAFe, Snowflake SnowPro, Azure) are preferred; regulated industry experience and FinOps familiarity are bonuses.

This hybrid position is available across eight U.S. locations—Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco—with flexibility to work remotely two days weekly. The role requires local residency and is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Travel to client sites is expected as part of program delivery.
