# Architect (Azure/Purview) - Data Governance Platforms at 3Cloud

This architect role on 3Cloud's delivery team focuses on designing and implementing enterprise data governance solutions on Azure. You'll own end-to-end architecture for complex projects, working hands-on with implementation teams to deliver secure, scalable systems that balance business value, performance, security, and cost. You'll lead solution design in your primary domain, mentor engineers and other architects, and translate business requirements into clear technical strategies that teams can execute reliably.

The role demands deep expertise in at least one of three platforms: Profisee for master data management, Microsoft Purview for data governance and cataloging, or Databricks Unity Catalog for data lakehouse governance. You'll combine technical leadership with strong business acumen, running discovery sessions, guiding architectural decisions through code reviews, and keeping delivery on track. You'll also need solid consulting skills—explaining complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and building trust with clients to influence priorities toward their long-term interests.
